Water filter, filter cartridge - Everpure 4DC for premium water and cold drinks

Everpure 4C2 removes fine dust, chlorine and its derivatives and improves the organoleptic properties of drinking water. 
The Everpure 4C2 water filter is widely used in household appliances and especially in the catering industry. The presence of silver salts is a valuable ally in keeping bacterial growth under control. We recommend its use in all situations where you are not sure whether the incoming water is free from bacterial contamination, e.g. storage tanks.

The filterpatron are of the activated carbon pre-coat type with 'Silver Microbiological Control' to guarantee healthier water.
It is an antibacterial filter. It removes chlorine compounds and turbidity from water, improves organoleptic properties and protects against microbial growth. The Everpure 4C2 filter is an activated carbon water filter with pre-coat technology, i.e. powdered activated carbon on a membrane with micrometric mesh size < 0.2 µ presence of silver salts Ag+ .
Silver ions in the Everpure 4C2 filter
The Everpure 4C2 water filter releases silver ions in minimal quantities, we are talking about ppm, i.e. parts per million, which are deposited in the pipes of the systems and form a protection against the formation of microorganisms. The migration of silver ions is not yet regulated in Europe, although the DM 25 guidelines indicate that this parameter should be kept under control. In the USA, however, the parameter is regulated. Everpure filters, and in this case the silver series, comply with NSF Standard 42, which is very strict. The release of silver ions is constant throughout the life of the filter and does not show any dangerous peaks, e.g. after prolonged standstill.

Small precautions to take
The Everpure 4C2 water filter must operate in an upright position, it cannot be laid down. It is recommended to replace it after the time and amount of treated water specified by the manufacturer. Everpure filters have a shelf life of several years if kept undamaged in the original packaging, in a dry place and away from heat sources.
